Missouri State University presents band festival

SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State University will host the 34^th annual OZARKO Invitational Marching Festival at 10:45 a.m. Oct. 7 at Plaster Sports Complex.

High school marching bands from Missouri, Kansas and Arkansas will compete in the day-long event for the championship. Competitors are divided into four divisions based on each school’s enrollment.

The Missouri State Pride Marching band will perform a special concert at 5:15 p.m., with finals competition beginning at 6 p.m. Awards will be presented at 9:15 p.m. For a complete schedule, visit at http://www.missouristate.edu/band.
